Most are familiar with how YouTube works and if you've frequented the site you know there are many wonderful and not-so-wonderful clips there.  For a while now, I've wanted to index or feature those clips that move, inspire and/or tickle your funny bone!  The clips listed below are organized by topic/theme and in time this collection will grow.  Once the video clip ends, you'll see the option to click on other related videos.  Please be aware that those videos may or may not have appropriate content, so consider yourself warned.  However, the video clips listed below come highly recommended by me and are safe for your viewing pleasure! : )  So.....ENJOY!!

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD A VIDEO CLIP?

Instructions from LDSTech on how to download videos to your devices.

 I use Firefox browser and it has a Video DownloadHelper extension you can download. It puts itself into your toolbar, and any time your browser is open to a page that has a video, you just click on the icon in the toolbar and VIOLA! It downloads it for you!  I've used this to get a video from YouTube that I showed in YW and it worked perfectly! CLICK HERE.  (Shared by Lesta in Missouri)

I find it easiest to use Zamzar.  Nothing to download, easy!  Just go to that link, input the link of the video or audio file you want to save, and then tell them what format you want it in.  I use AVI for video files and they play great on my laptop with a projector to on the wall. I love that there is no downloading a program with the associated spam on my computer!  It usually takes about 20 minutes to get the file back from them converted into the format I need.  Then I download just the file to my laptop and play it in windows media player.  (Idea shared by Marta Harr)

 KeepVid - enter the url of any video from youtube.com and it will convert it into a video for you to download.

 My brother sent me this link to DVDFlick which is a free tool that can handle converting the file format and burning it to DVD all at once--took care of it *so easily*. Awesome. I'll use that over and over.  (Shared by Jen)

 If you want to download videos from YouTube (or any other place online), just download the new (FREE) version of Real Player SP.  Once you have the software loaded, you can simply right-click on any video you are watching online and download it to your computer. I don't even bother putting it on DVD - I simply hook up my laptop to a projector. (Shared by Whit Larson)
